DraftKings Players Can now Gamble on the Go

Online sports betting players in New Jersey can now enjoy the benefit of online gambling on the go. One of the top sports betting providers, DraftKings reported to the media last week on the 1st of August that they have released a mobile application for sports betting fanatics. This makes them the first online betting company to introduce mobile sports betting in New Jersey.

This is the first mobile gambling app for New Jersey of many others that will follow. Because of this, sports betting is bound to be a highly competitive part of online gambling. Many online casinos, professional sports leagues and even technology companies are looking forward to benefiting from this excitement.

The introduction of mobile gambling in the state of New Jersey is also considered to be an essential key to assist in pushing legal casino gambling ahead of the overseas market, which has allegedly attracted about NZD$150 billion in wagers. The push by the online operators in New Jersey to have sports betting legalized also relied on this argument. This resulted in the United States Supreme Court agreeing to legalize sports betting.

Though many states worked so hard to introduce legal sports betting, some are not as anxious. For instance, Rhodes Island approved the legislation sometime in June but is not allowed to introduce any sports betting platforms until the beginning of October 2018. The only state excited are West Virginia, after Nevada and New Jersey that is preparing for the legalisation of mobile sports gambling in the foreseeable future.

Overview

For now, DraftKings online players can sign-in on the mobile gambling app with the same details they use from the desktop version. This application features different types of mobile betting options. What’s impressive about it is that it permits players to remove a wager in the event that they change their mind.
